Short study breaks in England (Thursday – Sunday)
English for Italy also offer you the option to further practice your English during a short study break in Derby, England (in the centre of England, nearest airport is Nottingham East Midlands) at each level staying 3 nights Thursday - Sunday.
We recommend staying with a local family, the reason for this is so you have to use your English all the time, you have your own room, some private bathrooms are available too. If you prefer we can arrange hotel accommodation – prices will vary according to the star rating of your choice.
Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
THE PRICE
365€ per person staying with host family.
The price includes:
- Return transfers from Nottingham East Midlands airport to your host family. (If you choose to fly to a different airport in England you need to get a train to Derby train station. Transfers from the train station to your host family are included.)
- Students staying with host family receive an evening meal on the day of arrival. (Evening meal is not included for students who choose to stay in a hotel).
- 5 hours study on Friday
- Students staying with host family receive an evening meal on Friday evening. (Evening meal is not included for students who choose to stay in a hotel).
- 3 hours study on Saturday morning followed by an afternoon excursion to Matlock with teacher. (Price includes cable car -see pictures). Alternative excursion may be arranged, for example Stratford-upon Avon depending on students' preferences/weather.
- Saturday night - BBQ with quiz or hot meal with teacher including quiz and games.
- All breakfasts.

ITINERARY
Thursday
Fly to England.
Arrive, transfer to your host family/hotel.
Evening meal and free time in the evening with your host family.
(Evening meal isn’t included for students staying in a hotel)
Friday
09:30 – 12:30 hrs – English lessons followed by lunch
14:30 hrs – 16:30 hrs English lessons
Free time with host family.
Saturday
09:30 – 12:30 hrs – English lessons.
Afternoon excursion: Transfer to Matlock, visit the town, eat hot lunch (included) go in the cable car to ‘The Heights of Abraham’ visit the caves. Drink at the café included plus free time for shopping/visit pub.
BBQ with quiz & games (or) hot meal with quiz & games (depending on weather).
Late return to host family.
Sunday
Free time with host family. Return transfer to Nottingham East Midlands airport (or Derby train station).
Return flight to Italy.
